About Me:

Born and raised in Idaho Falls, I moved to Oregon when my husband accepted a position with the US Army Corps of Engineers in 2011.

At the time, I was working for the Idaho Falls Police Department, and made the decision to start a new chapter in Oregon by purchasing a small business. By 2018 I was operating my third business.

Then, the Covid19 pandemic hit. That’s when I became involved in public policy and advocacy for small businesses. This included taking legal action against Governor Kate Brown, in an effort to help small businesses stay open and survive. Like many families I suffered unimaginable losses due to the overreach of government policy. It cost me a business, my marriage and the life of one of my sons.

Today, I am a proud mother, grandmother and small business owner, just like many of you. I believe growth, opportunity, and public safety are the most important priorities for Gresham. I care deeply about our community and want to be part of positive change, to make sure that we never suffer again like we did due to bad policy.

I invite you to join me!

Work Experience:

5 Years Idaho Falls Police Department

15 Years Owner Spud Monkey's

3 Years Manager Dea’s In & Out

3 Years Manager Lucky D’s

Member Gresham Chamber of Commerce

Education: Eastern Idaho Technical College

Community Service:

Neighborhood Watch and Citizens Watch Patrol: organized and led these programs. Focus was on addressing abandoned vehicles, supporting code enforcement, and establishing a graffiti removal program to improve the community, at no cost to the city.

C.A.S.A.(Court Appointed Special Advocates). I advocated for the best interest of children involved in the court system.

Proven Solutions: I am a founding member of H.O.M.S. Heart Of Main Street Coalition. Sued the Governor for the right of small business to stay open just like the big box stores.

When I see a need, I take action; my track record reflects this.

Join me in moving Gresham forward!
